Lake Gleneida provides a scenic entrance to 'Downtown Carmel'. The NYC
reservoir system winds its way through the town of Carmel.
Sycamore Park, located in Mahopac, is the largest recreational area in
the town of Carmel. Activities here include swimming at Long Pond Lake,
tennis, baseball, football, and handball.
A second park in Mahopac handles the overflow events of the very active
Carmel Recreation Program. |
